Abby Kortrijk is a playful, accessible, and polyphonic museum of visual arts.The site of the former Groeninge Abbey has undergone a transformation and has been turned into a timeless architectural gem. Abby is a house with many rooms, and this can be taken literally. There are 3 exhibition halls (2 of which are underground), offering a total of 1,000 m² of exhibition space.You will find Abby in the Begijnhofpark and can visit it from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 AM to 6 PM.

You enter Abby through the Living. This serves as a reception area during the day, and in the evening, it becomes an extension of the Abby Café, making it the perfect spot to grab a drink or attend an event. The Living is an artistic meeting place that is redesigned every two years by artists.In the Salon and Atelier, participation is at the core. As a visitor, you are welcome to soak up the atmosphere and take part in workshops and spontaneous art-making sessions. Nothing is mandatory, everything is possible.Want to spend some time outside? You can do so in the inner garden, where a vegetable garden is being created with herbs, vegetables, and flowers.

Would you like to visit Abby with a group of friends, family, or colleagues? That's possible!
For groups of up to 10 people, a visit can be done without a guide. A guided tour is available for groups of up to 15 people.
